James Curd Began DJing in Chicago in the early nineties.  By the time he was 19 he was holding down residencies with Derrick Carter and releasing music on labels around the world.

James wrote a wide array of songs and released ‘Should I Sing Like This" under the name Greenskeepers.  It became a hit with djs in the city and around the world. Greenskeepers was gaining steam in every direction including press support from Rolling Stone.  James continued to release music and dj under the name Greenskeepers.  His song "Low and Sweet" further cemented his swing house signature.

A couple of years later James set out to make a new Greenskeepers album and finished ‘Pleetch' which had many guest vocalists on it. Many songs off Pleetch were licensed to TV and the album was released on Classic and OM in 2004.
In 2005 James took a live show on the road.  The live show was a great success and made a huge impression on some of the most respected clubs and festivals around the world.

After touring non-stop to all ends of the earth, James went back into the studio.  In 2006 ‘Polo Club' was released to praise from music and lifestyle magazines that sent the live show, full of electronic rock, off on the road once again to support the new album.

James has recently completed a song for the video game ‘Grand Theft Auto IV'.  He continues to sign his releases, produce mixes, and has an upcoming album that has been completed under the name ‘The Projects'.
He brings to Soundwave his live trio of Greenskeepers, who vow to keep the dance floor hopping!

Come and check them out on Friday night at the Daielektik Stage!
